Can I add my own app labels when I use druid-operator to set up a cluster on Kubernetes/K8s?

druid-operator is a Kubernetes Operator for Apache Druid. It

  • provisions and manages Apache Druid cluster on kubernetes.
  • is designed to provision and manage Apache Druid in distributed mode only.

A community member was using druid-operator to set up a druid cluster on K8s. The community member noticed that all of the K8s resources got a app=druid label by default, and wondered if there was a way to override the default. Another community member shared the ability to add your own labels on the nodeSpec and cluster Spec: druid-operator/druid_types.go at master · druid-io/druid-operator · GitHub and druid-operator/druid_types.go at master · druid-io/druid-operator · GitHub.
