Cannot query some data in my datasource through historical service

I also tried changing the maxSize and it didn’t do anything

Do you see any segments created for 2015 data at all?

can you issue a timeBoundary query to see the data range being served by the historical nodes.

Hey bwhite,

Since you do see 2015 data in the druid_segments table and in hdfs, try checking these next:

  1. check for loading exceptions in your Historical node logs.

  2. make sure your Coordinator node is running- its job is to assign segments to historical nodes. It should log a bunch of messages once a minute or so describing how it’s managing the cluster. The messages usually look something like this:

2016-02-17T02:32:05,067 INFO [Coordinator-Exec–0] io.druid.server.coordinator.helper.DruidCoordinatorSegmentInfoLoader - Starting coordination. Getting available segments.

  1. you can also check your Coordinator console to see if anything looks awry (http://COORDINATOR_IP:PORT/#/). Generally red is bad
