Can't load a local json file to druid

I try to load a local json file to druid for ingestion. However, it seems not able to find any of the local file path. I wonder which path should I put json to?

“This path must be available on the local filesystem of all Druid services.”

Error: HTML Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Parameter ‘directory’ is not a directory: /opt/apache-druid-0.19.0/data

Error: HTML Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Parameter ‘directory’ is not a directory: /Users/xxx/work/xxx/source/phase1/druid/data/testing

I do have the file in both of these 2 paths .

Thank you for your help!

Hi Sylvia,

The files should be placed to the local filesystem of all Druid services.

Could you run through this tutorial - This will load the wikipedia data which is already available to your all druid node at /quickstart/tutorial/wikiticker-2015-09-12-sampled.json.gz

https://druid.apache.org/docs/latest/tutorials/tutorial-batch.html

OR You can try passing /quickstart/tutorial as base directory and wikiticker-2015-09-12-sampled.json.gz as a file filer if you want to try from dataloader UI.

Thanks and Regards,
Vaibhav
