Does Druid team officially support Cassandra for deep storage now ? we know there is a plugin developed by someone, but is that officially supported ? Is there any new development/features going on/planned related to this ?

There’s a community contributed extension for it (http://druid.io/docs/latest/dependencies/cassandra-deep-storage.html) although IIRC it doesn’t work with newer versions of Cassandra. I don’t think it’s under active development (I haven’t seen PRs for it in a while). Like any other community contributed extension, its progress depends on people from the community helping out.
