Druid 0.11.0-rc1 available

We’re happy to announce our next release candidate, Druid 0.11.0-rc1!

Druid 0.11.0 will contain hundreds of performance improvements, stability improvements, and bug fixes from almost 40 contributors. This release adds two major security features, TLS support and extension points for authentication and authorization.

Other major new features include:

  • Double columns support

  • cachingCost Balancer Strategy

  • jq expression support in JSON parser

  • Redis cache extension

  • GroupBy performance improvements

  • Various improvements to Druid SQL

Everyone in the community is invited to help out with the upcoming release by downloading this candidate and evaluating it.
