Hey, when I specify the following in runtime.properties file for using cassandra as deep storage and run it, it shows the following exception. Does any one knows the reason?
Exception in thread “main” com.metamx.common.ISE: Extension [/Users/zhiouyan/Desktop/druid/druid-0.9.2/extensions/druid-cassandra-storage] specified in “druid.extensions.loadList” didn’t exist!?
I found to using this on link:
cassandra storage is a community contributed extension.
refer to the section for Loading community and third party extensions here -
Thanks! But I go through the pages, I think my way to add the extension is right the same as what is documented there. Do you think are there any problems?
have you run pull-deps command to download the extension jars ?
I go through that page on druid website, but still do not figure out what version and package name I need to use for druid cassandra storage. could you please tell me how to do it? Thanks! Appreciate!
version will be same as druid version, it seems you are using 0.9.2 version,
So you can specify coordinate as - io.druid.extensions.contrib:druid-cassandra-storage:0.9.2
Hi Nishant, thanks, how can I specify the druid.extensions.directory in my command?
java -classpath “/Users/zhiouyan/Desktop/druid/druid-0.9.2/lib/*” io.druid.cli.Main tools pull-deps -c io.druid.extensions.contrib:druid-cassandra-storage:0.9.2 druid.extensions.directory:/Users/zhiouyan/Desktop/druid/druid-0.9.2/extensions/druid-cassandra-storage
but it does not work.
