Druid in production : Increasing the number of druid nodes

Hi,

I have read in the documentation that companies using druid in production are deploying hundreds of nodes to handle large workloads. How can this be done using the docker-druid image?

Thanks,

Prathamesh

Hey Parathamesh,

The docker-druid project is mostly for demo & testing purposes so it runs every service in a single container, I’m not aware of it being used in production. There are companies who do deploy Druid using docker though so it’s feasible but you’ll likely need to build your own images.

Thanks for the pointers Dylan!

Hi Dylan,

Does Imply provide any solutions for production? I have tried the Imply image for demo although not sure how good it is for production.

Thanks,
