Druid repo cloning failed

I tried to download druid code to compile myself but ran into issues when cloning the repo:

git clone git@github.com:druid-io/druid.git
Cloning into ‘druid’…
Warning: Permanently added the RSA host key for IP address ‘192.30.252.130’ to the list of known hosts.
Permission denied (publickey).
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Is there something wrong with the server or the Druid Doc needs to be updated: http://druid.io/docs/latest/Build-from-source.html.

Hi,
the instructions on site are correct,

you might be having authentication issues on github.

This should help you out -

https://help.github.com/articles/error-permission-denied-publickey/

It would probably be easier to clone over https if you are not a committer:

git clone https://github.com/druid-io/druid.git

Also, when cloning is failing, it’s better to check Github Status @ https://status.github.com/ or https://twitter.com/githubstatus

Gian,

That was what I eventually did and it worked perfectly. Thanks.
