How Druid organize Segments if multiple processes push data with Tranquility?

Hello guys, I have a question:

if I use Tranquility with distributed way to push data (such as 16 processes simultaneously for better performance) into Druid, do they generate 16 segments which belongs to the same time range, if we don’t consider partition spec?

I want to know how Druid handle the multiple parallel pushing processes? According to the naming convention, There should be only one segment in one time range if not enable partition spec, right?

The multiple Tranquility instances use ZooKeeper to coordinate with each other and write to the same Druid segments.
