How is middle manager and overlord started in docker-druid?

Hi,

The configurations for middle manager & overlord when using docker-druid image are not specified in supervisor.conf which has config for druid-historical, druid-broker and druid-coordinator. The supervisor would start each of these druid nodes as per the supplied configuration.

Where are the commands to start overlord and middle manager specified? how exactly are these nodes started when docker-druid container starts?

Thanks,

Prathamesh

Druid coordinator node probably also act as overlord as per this configuration:

-Ddruid.coordinator.asOverlord.enabled=true

-Ddruid.coordinator.asOverlord.overlordService=druid/overlord

``

Still not sure how middle manager is started using the default configuration in supervisor.conf or if is started at all.

docker-druid does not contain all the druid daemons. you can add other programs there if you wish.
for how to start druid daemons refer to the tutorial http://druid.io/docs/latest/tutorials/index.html ( Section Start up Druid services )

Thanks Nishant!
