How to delete intervals of datasource?

Hi, I’m quite new to druid and I am doing research on how to use druid properly.
According to the official document, we could use the

  • /druid/coordinator/v1/datasources/{dataSourceName}/intervals/{interval}
    To delete data in an interval of datasource.
    I did try to send DELETE http request to the coordinator. It returned status 200.

But it seems the interval is still there.

The request url:

DELETE http://192.168.2.220:18081/druid/coordinator/v1/datasources/pageviews-kafka/intervals/2000-01-01T00:00:00.000Z_2000-01-01T01:00:00.000Z

– response –

200 OK

You have to disable it first.

Hi Meng,

Please try reading http://druid.io/docs/0.9.1.1/operations/rule-configuration.html. It provides info about how to disable periods of data. The short answer is you can use an interval based rule to disable data for a certain time period.
