http emitter does not contain dataSource name

Hi,
I’m using http emitter to monitor druid nodes’ metrics, the common.properties like:

druid.monitoring.emissionPeriod=PT1m

druid.monitoring.monitors=

druid.emitter=http

druid.emitter.http.timeOut=PT5M

druid.emitter.http.flushMillis=60000

druid.emitter.http.flushCount=500

druid.emitter.http.recipientBaseUrl=http://certain-host:port

and the graphite UI shows like:

as the two pictures show, I have two middleManager, called druid1 and druid05.

My question as the subject title says, is that how I can see different dataSources’ realtime ingesting metric .

Some place I missed ?

you can change graphite event converter type to "all" or add "dataSource" dimension to events you want. see graphite.md

I think you mean graphite emitter in http://druid.io/docs/0.9.0/development/extensions-contrib/graphite.html,
but if I use http emitter, can it be possible to show different dataSource’s metrics ?

Hey Skyler,

The http emitter always emits all dimensions for each metric. So I would guess they’re getting lost somewhere between the http server and your metrics backend.
