log level info shows debug rows

Hi,
I’m experiencing a lot of rows at Debug level on my logs even if I’ve set level info into configuration.

How should I setup in order to have only Info/Error rows?

Here my common.runtime.properties :

druid.emitter=logging

druid.emitter.logging.loggerClass=LoggingEmitter

druid.emitter.logging.logLevel=info

``

Here is my log4j2.xml file:

/usr/local/druid/logs

%d %p %c{1.} [%t] %m%n

%d %p %c{1.} [%t] %m%n

             <TimeBasedTriggeringPolicy />
    </RollingFile>

%d %p %c{1.} [%t] %m%n

``

Here an example of logs on realtime module

2015-05-07 02:17:10,251 DEBUG k.c.PartitionTopicInfo [ConsumerFetcherThread-druid_druid06-1430388041515-51822505-0-1] updated fetch offset of (buck_bidding:0: fetched offset = 3475531: consumed offset = 3475528) to 3475531

2015-05-07 02:17:10,252 DEBUG k.c.PartitionTopicInfo [chief-buck_bidding] reset consume offset of buck_bidding:0: fetched offset = 3475531: consumed offset = 3475529 to 3475529

2015-05-07 02:17:10,252 DEBUG k.c.PartitionTopicInfo [chief-buck_bidding] reset consume offset of buck_bidding:0: fetched offset = 3475531: consumed offset = 3475530 to 3475530

2015-05-07 02:17:10,252 DEBUG k.c.PartitionTopicInfo [chief-buck_bidding] reset consume offset of buck_bidding:0: fetched offset = 3475531: consumed offset = 3475531 to 3475531

Can someone help me on configuring in the proper way?

Thanks

Maurizio

I think if you remove the “debug” logger from your section then you won’t see debug logs anymore. The “druid.emitter.logging.logLevel” controls what log level Druid metrics are emitted at but does not influence the actual log4j2 configuration.

Thanks for the feedback.
It’s working as expected :slight_smile:
