Hi I’m getting an error while adding the sql server extension :
“error”:"Could not resolve type id ‘mssql’ as a subtype of
org.apache.druid.metadata.SQLFirehoseDatabaseConnector: known type ids = [mysql] (for POJO property ‘database’)\n at [Source: (org.eclipse.jetty.server.HttpInputOverHTTP); line: 1, column: 1438] (through reference chain: org.apache.druid.indexing.common.task.batch.parallel.ParallelIndexSupervisorTask[“spec”]->org.apache.druid.indexing.common.task.batch.parallel.ParallelIndexIngestionSpec[“ioConfig”]->org.apache.druid.indexing.common.task.batch.parallel
I’ve not used that extension before, but looking at the docs it looks like that extension only enables you to use Microsoft SQL Server as a metadata database location, and not as a route to ingest data?
The extension is not being loaded into druid
Is it in your extension load list? Have you restarted your services since?
(Sorry to ask silly questions! )
Yes I restarted. My extension is in the loadlist.
It would be interesting to check what the output of the Status API is:
It will tell you the currently applied configuration, so you can see if the loadlist has been picked up.
