Migration from Camus to Gobblin?

I’m curious, has anyone made the migration from Camus to Gobblin?
We are currently using Camus to create batch files for us to batch into Druid.

Just wondering if anyone here has any experience moving to Gobblin.

I don’t know of anyone using Gobblin with Druid, but as long as it can write time-partitioned data files, things should work.

Maybe this thread will help: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/15161826963

lol…we actually call our project Shaman.
I’m spending some cycles learning Gobblin, its from LinkedIn, btw.
Also, I read somewhere that someone is building avro support for Druid.

Goblin uses avro out of the box.

Any news on that?

Hmm, I’m not sure who’s working on Avro stuff. Whoever it is, if you’re reading, please file a github issue and assign it to yourself!

Fwiw, if anyone else is interested, I just filed this issue since I didn’t see one already existing.

Please check #1858
