Multiple Historical Node Configuration

Hi,

I set up a cluster that has multiple historical nodes. How can I let that be known in the configuration?

Thanks a lot

Thomas

The nodes are all on separate servers with separate IP addresses. However, the historical configuration file only allows you to specify one host.

I believe that you would have a historical configuration file on each of your servers, and each configuration file would specify the server on which it resides as its druid.host.

You can remove druid.host and it will be populated with a default value that is the IP of the server the historical server is running on.

How does the load distribution happen - automatically via zookeeper?

Druid coordinator will ensure that the segments are evenly distributed across the historical nodes.
You can also configure rules in coordinator to configure replication or load data for specific intervals.

(Refer http://druid.io/docs/latest/operations/rule-configuration.html for more details)
