I found some tasks failed.So i click the report.But I just see :No log was found for this task. The task may not exist, or it may not have begun running yet.

and I found the picture.

Hi Scofi.

You can check if indexing logs are written on the disk, Please check for below parameters of your druid > common.runtime.properties and see if the logging directories have the logs:

druid.indexer.logs.type

druid.indexer.logs.directory

eg : If you are using local disk for logging
druid.indexer.logs.type=file
druid.indexer.logs.directory=var/druid/indexing-logs

Please note, you should check on nodes running the Middle manager process.

Thanks,

Vaibhav

Hi,Vaibhav:

I have found it in the hdfs directory .

Then I attched the files for you.It seems normal.

I only see one log in your indexing-log directory directory ending with njflijjf .
Could you try puling the indexing log for the same task in the UI ?

Also, How about other tasks ( successful /running)? do you see any issue .

Thanks,

Vaibhav

Hi Scoffi,

Do you see any scenario where the index log is written to your HDFS and inaccessible from UI? Generally, If the log is written to the disk, UI should be able to fetch it.

Thanks,

Vaibhav
