Query interval: inclusive or exclusive?

For all of the Druid queries, I have been assuming that the time intervals are all inclusive, is this correct? So if I specify a query interval of [“2012-10-01T00:00/2020-01-01T00:00”], I’m assuming that the query would run over all data with 2012-10-01T00:00 <= timestamp <= 2020-01-01T00:00. Thus, if the data that I’m querying over is rolled up into hour granularities, then this query would effectively run over all data that had an original pre-ingestion timestamp like: 2012-10-01T00:00 <= timestamp <= 2020-01-01T00:59.999.

Are my assumptions correct? Thanks!

Intervals are inclusive/exclusive.

They are actually following the ISO8601 standard for time intervals:

Ah, ok, great, thanks for the clarification.
