Question on Naming for ZK Discovery Nodes

Hi,

We have a scenario where a couple of druid clusters use the same zookeeper. What is the naming convention for discovery nodes? Are they qualified with the root_path? For example below we have druid_ignite:coordinator, druid_ignite:broker

regards,

Harish.

Hey Harish,

Druid has two kinds of ZK paths: internal stuff (all rooted at druid.zk.paths.base, meant for internal use) and Curator service discovery (rooted at druid.discovery.curator.path, meant for both internal and external use). Your bolded paths look like they’re part of Curator service discovery. In JVM land you can use http://curator.apache.org/curator-x-discovery/ to interact with that.

Thanks Gian.
