Raw size of columns in a table

I am trying to find out why adding an additional HLL column ballooned the size of my Druid table from 3 GiB to 12 GiB.
Is there a way to find out sizes of columns in Druid?

Hey Pratik,

The easiest way to do it is to download a segment (from deep storage or pull it from disk on a historical), unzip it and check the “meta.smoosh” file. The difference between the last two fields is the column size (they are starting and ending byte offsets).
