Sample configurations

Hi Druid Users,

I am new to Druid. I have read of Druid from Internet and this seems a great tool to make my queries to hadoop faster given an indexing option.

I am currently evaluating Druid to bind it to the product that I am working on.

I have 3 nodes [ hslave4 , hslave5, hslave7 ] for my DRUID cluster installation

I plan to have ::

hslave4 :: Broker
hslave5:: Co-Ordinator, Overlord
hslave6:: middleManager, History Server

The data to be read to DRUID from HDFS !!

I already have postgres running on hmaster1
also hslave4, hslave5,are data nodes in hadoop cluster.
hslave7 is an independent node.

Hi Asish,
You can use the sample configs bundled with druid installation, they should be good as a starting point.

If you still face issues, please sharing complete task logs the runtime.properties for more details.

Hi Nishant,

I had tried that.

Attaching the conf folder and the log files herewith

Again, I am trying ::

hslave4 :: Broker
hslave5:: Co-Ordinator, Overlord
hslave6:: middleManager, History Server

log-hslave5.tar.gz (194 KB)

log-hslave7.tar.gz (107 KB)

conf.tar.gz (8.35 KB)

Hi Nishant,

Thanks…! I figures out the problem was on the hdfs configurations done on config files.

It started working.

Also I had to configure Timezone as Asia/Calcutta as we had IST on all nodes.

Thanks again …!

Thanks for the update. Glad, you figured it out!!
