Shutdown() realtime firehose

I am using a ‘none’ rejection policy for a test with the high level kafka consumer on my realtime node. I know nothing will handoff until shutdown() is called on that firehose from the realtime ingestion docs. How do i call shutdown() so that event will get handed of? is there an endpoint i can call?

Hey Nicholas,

There is not- currently the only way to shut down an “infinite” firehose like the Kafka one is with a wrapper. For example you could wrap it in a TimedShutoffFirehose set to shut down at a particular time.
