Socket time out error while submitting any druid index task from Mac machine

Hi Folks ,

I am having an issue to submit any kind of indexing task in to my local druid quickstart set up I had installed in my Mac machine ! I am getting an errorr saying “socket timed out”

It was working fine last time I used to index a local file and file form HDFS too .Now all of a sudden I am getting this error while I am trying to idea HDFS. Any idea what is wrong ?

Anoosha,

Did you check if HDFS is working good? Is it a local HDFS or remote?

It is a remote HDFS , I used docker Haddop container
