too many files under log/local storage directory

druid store all task logs in one directory, and also store all index files under one directory per data source.

then the directory may have too many files, does druid support store log/index files to diff directory according some rules?

you can configure the indexing-service to load the logs to another place on completion of task.

for more details see Task Logging section here -

thanks, Nishant.

I do set the to a specific path for the index service.

and also set druid deep storage to a hdfs path,

then all files will store in the path, I mean is there a way that

for example, I set the log directory to PATH, then druid will store log/index files to PATH/DATE_TIME/ automatic according to the time?
